A Joyful May Garden Wedding at The Paine Art Center
As spring gave way to early summer, Abbie and Josh celebrated their love in one of the most romantic settings Wisconsin has to offer: The Paine Art Center in Oshkosh. Their May wedding was a vibrant, joy-filled day bursting with fresh florals, sunshine, and personality—exactly the kind of event that reminds us why we love what we do.
The Paine’s historic estate and blooming gardens set the perfect stage for Abbie and Josh’s celebration. With its timeless architecture and lush grounds, the venue offered a natural elegance that was beautifully enhanced by an abundance of bright, seasonal florals provided by the incredibly talented team at House of Flowers. Think coral charm peonies, sunny ranunculus, and armfuls of garden roses—all arranged to feel fresh, full of movement, and bursting with color.
One of our favorite details? The playful incorporation of fresh citrus throughout the décor. Lemons and limes were tucked into centerpieces, placed along reception tables, and even featured in escort card displays, adding a zesty pop of personality and a nod to summer's arrival. The citrus elements paired perfectly with the bold florals to create a lively, joyful atmosphere.
The ceremony took place in the ceremony garden under clear skies, surrounded by blooming greenery. Guests then moved into the Carriage House courtyard for cocktail hour, where a live acoustic duo set the tone for an easygoing yet elegant evening.
Inside the reception tent, round tables were dressed in soft linen tablecloths and topped with crystal glassware that shimmered in the early evening light. The combination of thoughtful details, colorful blooms, and a relaxed garden setting made for a truly memorable guest experience.
Our role in coordinating Abbie and Josh’s day was to ensure everything flowed seamlessly—behind the scenes, our team handled timelines, vendor logistics, and last-minute adjustments so the couple could stay fully present and enjoy every moment. From their first look to the last dance, we were honored to guide the day with care and attention to detail.
