Green Bay, Wisconsin
Nicole and Mike’s October wedding in Green Bay was the kind of day that felt effortlessly classic while still being completely full of personality. The perfect balance of elegance and pure celebration. From the moment the day began, every detail reflected who they are: timeless, thoughtful, and ready to have a really good time with the people they love most.
They exchanged vows inside the breathtaking St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, a space that set the tone for the entire day. With its soaring ceilings and historic beauty, the cathedral was a stunning backdrop for a formal ceremony filled with emotion. Soft sage green and crisp white details complemented the space beautifully, with lush white roses and fresh greenery adding a romantic, refined touch without overwhelming the architecture. Nicole looked radiant as she walked down the aisle, and Mike couldn’t stop smiling, it was one of those ceremonies that felt both grand and deeply personal.
After the ceremony, the wedding party headed to the Green Bay Botanical Garden for portraits, and October showed off in the best way. The gardens provided a peaceful, elegant setting with just the right hint of fall, creating timeless images that felt soft, natural, and editorial all at once. The bridesmaids’ black gowns were a striking contrast against the greenery, while Mike and his groomsmen looked incredibly sharp in classic tuxedos; formal, polished, and undeniably stylish.
The celebration continued at Hotel Northland, where guests were welcomed into a reception that felt warm, intimate, and beautifully elevated. Tall taper candles glowed throughout the room, white roses and greenery dressed each table, and a king’s table anchored the space for the bridal party. The evening flowed seamlessly into a plated dinner, giving the reception a truly refined feel while still keeping things relaxed and inviting.
One of the most memorable and meaningful details of the night was a personal touch from Mike’s family, each guest went home with a jar of their famous homemade salsa. It was such a heartfelt nod to family and tradition, and I can confidently say it was the best salsa I’ve ever had. I was lucky enough to take home the leftovers, and it was as fresh and incredible as everyone promised.
As the night went on, the energy only grew. Guests were treated to cheesecake for dessert, while Nicole and Mike shared a small, beautiful cut cake made just for them by McKayla Marie Sweets. Then Felix and Fingers took over, and the dance floor never emptied. From the absolute cutest ring bearers and flower girls stealing the show to Mike and the men of the wedding becoming the life of the party, the room was filled with laughter, movement, and nonstop joy. This was a crowd that came ready to celebrate, and they danced all night long.
Nicole and Mike’s wedding was elegant without feeling stiff, fun without losing its sense of sophistication, and deeply personal in all the ways that matter most. It was an honor to be part of a day that felt so true to them, and one that will be remembered not just for how beautiful it was, but for how good it felt to be there.
