Aubree & Jonah Oelke Wedding

Some weddings just click: the couple, the venue, the weather, the vibe. Aubree and Jonah’s Memorial Day weekend wedding was one of those weddings I’m still smiling about.

They tied the knot outside at Pullmans in Appleton, right next to the sweetest little waterfall you’ve ever seen. It was peaceful, intimate, and totally perfect for the two of them. The river sparkled in the background, the trees were doing that magical late-spring thing, and everyone was all smiles (including me).

From the start, Aubree and Jonah were clear about one thing: they wanted a day that felt like them. And they nailed it. Their blue and white color palette kept everything classic and clean, while the relaxed riverfront setting brought all the natural charm. Bonus points: Pullmans is both the ceremony and reception spot, which meant no travel stress and more time to party.

Now here’s where it gets extra fun, they brought their longboards to their wedding portraits. YES. They longboard together, and they weren’t about to leave that piece of their story out of their wedding day. It made for some of my favorite wedding photos ever—them cruising along the path by the river in full wedding attire, laughing like it was just another Saturday (but in much nicer outfits).

Their reception was full of happy tears, killer dance moves, and just the right amount of party that says, “Yep, this is a wedding and we’re having a blast.”

Aubree and Jonah, thank you for letting me be part of your day. You made planning easy, fun, and full of joy from beginning to end, and I’ll never look at a longboard the same way again.
